FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How long should a title tag be?
Put the main topic first. This preview uses a 600-pixel limit on desktop and two lines on mobile. Letters have different widths, so counting characters isn't enough: an "i" takes less space than a "W".
How long should a meta description be?
Put the most important information first. The preview shows two lines on desktop and three on mobile, including the date if you add one. The real result can change with the search and the screen size.
Will Google show it exactly like this?
Not guaranteed. Google often rewrites titles and descriptions, especially when they don't match the search. This preview is close, not exact.
Does this tool send my text anywhere?
No. Your title, description and URL stay in your browser. The preview updates as you type.
